Home Grown Café - 12/2/2008

Delaware Today, Out and About and the News Journal were as excited as Green Drinks attendees as Home Grown provided their best healthy fare, fun and funky atmosphere. Newark Council member Paul Pomeroy and many friends of the Newark community celebrated the recent renovations at Home Grown.

Many thanks to manager Lesli Felix for the accommodating the many that continued to come in during an already busy weeknight.

Home Grown's menu and mix delighted the hungry and thirsty while the buzz of the new and go-green administration gave all in attendance much to look forward to in 2009. As always, a mix of green business professionals, students, educators and curious find themselves in conversation with like-minded people with  topics ranging from building techniques, business development, energy savings and green financing.

Yes, the rumors of yet another Green Expo coming to Delaware are true. Stay tuned and we will see you at the next Greenville Green Drinks - Green Business Networking being hosted by Buckley’s on Tuesday, December, 9th.
